I Could Ride All Day In My Cool Blue Train

I went up to Bristol the other weekend, went to the NME gig with The Scientist. Saw The Automatic, Forward Russia! (lots of microphone chord strangulation antics), BoyKillBoy, and sadly only two and a half Howling Bells songs... they started very early, and we arrived a little late, due to The Scientist defrosting his mousaka. It was the hottest, most inexplicably sweltering gig I've ever been to, with one wise-cracking singer exclaiming 'is anyone else here a little chilly?'.

The next day we wandered around taking photos of laundry and allotments, dandilion clocks and pagan's dressed up as trees.

After that I went up north for my Grandmother's funeral. Sad but also really quite good. and more wandering over the beaches, watching my shaadow splash among the waves.

Next weekend I'm up in Manchester for a party, across to Liverpool to see my sister, and then perhaps I'll find my way back down to Bristol. In the mean time, Ill fill the time with the things I never usually get around to...

I stumbled across you somewhere in someones else's journal and scanned through your self explanatory text and had a glipmse at your devID and such. I'm of the opinion that I have to watch you : ) (please don't feel threatened +_+)

and one thing I have to add:
you have a marvelous taste in music and I also loved Garden State (which I had the chance to see only two days ago! *_* )
